Studying Tips / Ideas ♥

So... Today (January 21, 2013) I was on "Walmart" buying those little details that help you study and I thought: "Hey! Why don't you make a video or blog about some little tips or ideas that could help others out. Well first of all, I'm the type of person that hates studying, I feel like it's so boring and even MORE boring if it's something you don't really care about.
I'm on my First Year of University and I don't know where else, but at least here (Puerto Rico) the first year of University is mostly of Basic Classes, you know, those classes that you had taking for 12 years, that you graduated already for taking them.. YEAH! Those classes... OK.. Long Intro.. Lets Get Into It ♥

:: WHAT I NEED TO STUDY?

○ Index Cards // Flash Cards
○ Colored Pens // Markers
○ Highlighters
○ Creativity
○ NO Twitter, Instagram, YOUTUBE, Blog, Facebook around ;)
○ And obviously something to study -.-

:: WHAT I DO TO STUDY?

○ FIRST OF ALL... Keep my self concentrated on what I need to study
○ Then I start reading what I have to study on and start highlighting what I know the Teacher really put attention in class.. you know those things that he/she keeps talking about again and again.. Yeah! Those things.
○ After that, I start writing with COLORS on my Flash/Index Cards what I highlighted and what I also thought it might be important as well ( names, numbers, dates, those things that we don't really care about, but they think we do).
○ * Add some creativity (hearts, balloons  everything you feel its important... xD) to your index/flash cards... things that you like, around the written stuff. * This will help you remember what you wrote trust me!
○ And Finally START STUdying :)

:: TIPS // IDEAS

○ When you are studying keep everything that you like away from you, this will help you get less distracted by those things that scream your name. Also one thing that I like to do is sing or make conversations with myself repeatedly so I start thinking its important for me. When I draw things around what I wrote, it helps me because when I'm in the test I just think for example:
- Ohh! Where did I wrote this?? Oh yeah! I draw a heart on it's side... What did it said... ??
And I make a mental picture of what I saw while drawing and Woah- La! - Sometimes I remember this way.

// I don't know this are the things I like to do to concentrate and study... This will NOT work for everyone.. Each person is completely different and we have different types of learning also. I just hope this helped some of you out there. \\
